The Laws of Thermodynamics

There are two laws of thermodynamics, which describe in general terms energy and heat transfer. They are:

The First Law of Thermodynamics

Whereis the work done on a system andis the heat energy supplied to the system.represents the gain in energy of all forms of the system.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics

The Flow of Heat and Energy are such that the tendency is for Entropy to increase ieor in plain English, “Heat flows from hot to cold bodies”.
