£5 an hour for a private tutor

In london gumtree, tutors charge £5 an hour upwards.
Do people expect to get a bargain at this price?
Someone with an actual degree, good english and some experience,
Gumtree asks no evidence of their advertisers.
Any tutor from gumtree st that price is dangerous.
