A picture of the polluted oceans, or a stinking landfill site, or a dead whale. Everything you buy should have a picture of something to prick your conscience and wonder what will happen to your buy when you are finished with it.

Is it rascist to ask for a white tutor? If a student does bot want to be taught by a black or asian tutor or teacher, is that rascism?
I have never had a black or asian student ask for a black or asian student, but I can imagine how hard it is for black tutors to retain students because white students do not want to be taught by a black tutor.
I’m hoping for a better world.

Scottish children are going to be taught all about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues.
Many of them will be extremely bored and fail to see the point. Others will be extremely irritated that they would rather be taught something that will help them pass an exam. Many of them will use the opportunity to decide against all that and and beat up the first gay boy they see.
Someone didn’t think about this.

The average lifetime of a consumer product – TV, car, cooker etc – is only about 10 years.
I don’t know how anyone can afford to replace everything they own every 10 years or so but there you go.
I am more worried about the effect on the planet.
We need to make everything more expensive so people feel the need to make things last longer, and repair things before they are replaced.

Apparantl;y the man thought he was 15 years old. He REALLY needs to learn some maths if he doesn’t know the difference between 15 and 30.
