What the Fucktion!

Functions are lately introduced to GCSE Maths, and I can’t possibly tell you how much it is frustrating some people. The process of inverting a function especially seems to tie some people up in knots so that you seem to end up with something being exactly what it is not.
Ordinary GCSE maths is too early to be introducing students to such mind bending concepts.

A man in the USA – where else? – is suing a woman for texting during a day. It would make a sort of sense if she were being paid for her time.
Sure to make me texting, surfing, making a call or sending an email or installing an app when I should be doing some maths.

All Universties to go Online Says Paddy

Paddy Ashdiown, former leader of the Liberal Democrats and SAS hardman, says all Universities will go online and all Degree students will get a Degree studying remotely.
NO PADDY! If people study only on the internet, they will all go mad from all the conspiracy theories and propaganda from this or that hate group.
No face to face contact time means a mad, bad, sad world.

Bank Holiday Deja Vue

We had the Easter Monday Holiday, then Mayday, and on May 29th there is another. I always get a sense of deja vue at this time of year. University exams finish in late May and I always wake up that Monday 29th Holiday staring at empty bottles and the smell of alcohol all around.
