Why are we still panicking about overpopulation? The number of children worldwide has already peaked and is now shrinking.
What this means frankly is that wordwide, we are moving towards the extinction of the human race.
And of course, THE DECLINE OF THE PRIVATE TUTOR. One day we will all have to stand on street corners like hawkers, pleading, ‘who wants to learn something useful?’

20% of students in British private schools get extra time in exams, or use of a computer or scribe, because they have minor learning disabilities, compared to only 12.5% of state school students.
Does this mean private students are habitually high on cocaine, drunk or just mentally incapable compared to state school students?
NO!
It means that state schools are not doing their job of pushing all their students’ rights to give them maximum advantage, and gaming the system frankly on behalf of their students.

With the USA at war with itself over Trump, a new class of refugees is set to swamp us.

Let us all welcome American refugees, with all their lovely money to our shores, and show them some sympathy as they try to rebuild their lives.
Why, I met an American just last week in Victoria, and even though he may not have been a refugee, I took his hand, and said, ‘You have all my sympathy’.

After leaving school with better qualifications on average than men, women enter the professions in higher numbers than men – more women doctors than men, more women teachers than men…
Women are taking over by degree. Soon the only thing left for men to do will be to impregnate women so the human race does not die out.

Loughborough University, a University not well known for its mathematical prowess has overdosed two students with the caffeine equivalent of 300 cups of coffee each, by putting a decimal point in the wrong place – what are those damn dots for anyway?
Loughbourough specialises in sports. Were they being prepared for carreer in the famously druggy world of athletics? Did they run any faster?

Politics, especially American politics, has a nasty tinge.
Americans vote for liars, and vote for them again, even after their lies are exposed.
Nixon, Reagan, Clinton and now Trump have all been caught telling barefaced lies and have been allowed to get away with it.
None have been punished at the polls for merely telling lies, and none have gone to jail.
Trump told packs of lies even before he was elected, and people did not recognise his lies, or did not care, which is worse.
Many children take a meaningless subject called PHSE. We should use some of this time to teach them when people on TV – especially politicians – are telling them porkies.
Hopefully enough of them will care to not vote for them.

Anyone thinking things will get better for ever is wrong. Frankly people are just tired of things getting better.
Britain voted Brexit, America voted Trump. Germany, France and Holland might vote Fascism this year.

There is an awful lot of advanced maths in the new maths GCSE.
Just the right amount for anyone going on to study A Level maths.
Far too much for anyone needing to learn the problem solving sort skills that a plumber would beed.
