You.don’t have to a genius to know that maths is the worst taught subject in the UK. The reason is that noone wants to teach it. Whenever anyone mentions becoming s maths teacher to a maths graduate there is a sucking sound as they make their excuses. I remember telling someone when asked this question, ‘I want to see if I can get a Jon in the private sector first’. Frankly teaching maths in a school is an awful job, so we have to get foreigners to do it. Schools are scouring the world for maths teachers, creating another sucking sound of foreign teachers abandoning their countries for the UK. The government has said they will take Syrian refugees from camps. No doubt they will be giving priority to maths teachers. Every Syrian should.claim to be one if they want to come to the UK.

What’s the point? One of my strange and diple rules is to keep going forward. A class reunion.makes everyone think thst for decades they have been going in the wrong direction. It would also give me a sense of nauseous deja vu to hear all that thirty year old teenage crap again.

What a very unchristoan thing to say. Normally when anyone from the church of England speaks it is to compare the government to a group of fascists. It would be very fascist indeed to drop your bombs on a third world country because it is fought over by many groups, none of whom you like.

I took out a phone contract with is which I cancelled after 5 days because the phone had not been delivered despite this, id have been taking my money for two months.
They have failed to cancel my contract and promised me refunds twice that I have not received. I have spent about ten hours on the phone to s ales, who could not deal with me. By making them speak to the right department I could waste more of their money and maybe cost them.a sale. I gave them a VERY hard time, and they bent themselves to my will and gave me some money.

Don’t do it. It leaves a long lasting,bad taste all round. When teenagers send sexts to other teenagers, who share it with their friends, the evidence of crime is out there and impossible to eliminate. Everyone is guilty.

Out of Israel this week came the latest in a long stream of videos showing an Israel soldier being brutal towards Palestinians. This particular soldier sat on an 11 year old boy with a broken arm, pointing his rifle at the boys head, before being surrounded by women and running away crying. 
They don’t teach tolerance in Israel. The whole Israeli education system, in fact the whole of Israeli society, is geared to preserve the primacy of Judaism in Palestine. Israeli Jews do not recognise that their own security depends on the consent of the population of Palestine to be governed by a system that the Jews feel comfortable with. Without this basic insight, the present system in Palestine is doomed to a violent climax.
Compare this with the German response to a tide of refugees.
I have no sympathy for a nation that glories in war and loses, but I have great respect for a nation that extends a helping hand to people fleeing war and persecition, even if only to soothe its own conscience for the wrongs it has done.
Not many people will know that before the rise of modern Germany, the German speaking people were divided, and among the most tolerant people in Europe.
When Germany was united and became aggressive and intolerant, its fate was sealed as others united against it.
South Africa came close to civil war because of an education system that taught intolerance and the USA had suffered low level unrest punctuated by riots for hundreds of years because of its own apartheid system. The us system only survived because of the numerical superiority of whites over blacks.
Israel has no time to learn this lesson now. It is too late. When Jews come to britain fleeing the retribution of the Palestinians they have persecuted, we should teach them the tolerance they were not taught in Israel.
