This time at virgin. I transferred phone and broadband to virgin in February. Things went badly from the start. They processed a payment of mine to someone else’s account, and added the amount of that payment to someone else’s account, then added it to my bill resulting in an attempt to take \u00a3214 from my bank account. When the direct debit bounced they disconnected my broadband without notice.
\nI got angry at this point. The refunded me for one month and paid my bank charge for the direct debit that bounced.
\nOn Monday of this week my phone developed a fault and I didn’t have a phone line for 24 hours.
\nI sent for a technician and with the phone repaired, I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICES! and demanded \u00a320. After only about an hours resistance, they agreed. After 7 weeks of being a virgin customer, they have refunded me a total of \u00a370. God only knows how they make a profit.
