I used to get these calls all the time from indian people claiming they knew my my pc was running slow. Just for fun I played along today and wrote everything down that was said:
\ngo to my computer and left click
\nclick on security – red crosses they said meant my computer was infected with all sorts of viruses so I should go to www.ammyy.com and download some software.
\nAt this point I stopped and told them I dont have a windows pc and they had been wasting their time calling from India.
\nStupidly then they wanted to charge me for having wasted their time.
