I sometimes get asked via email, facebook and linkedin to come and work in some school in the North West of England.<br \/>\nI reply, &#8216;If you were not already working there, would you want to?&#8217;.<br \/>\nThe fact is that the whole North West of England has been abandoned to decay, like Liverpool was under Margaret Thatcher.
