Each of these regions corresponds loosely to one of the twelve months of the year, and is given one of the familiar names - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.The signs of the zodiac originally coincided with their associated constellations - star pattern.
