When I go to any website whatsoever that displays google ads, the ads are the same, tailored to me. This can only mean that google is spying on me whenever I am logged into my google account on the same computer. I was logged of google and these are the ads presented to me on the daily telegraph website:

Since google probably crossed the creepy line and knows what colour my underpants are, I have been thinking about what the colour of your underpants says about you.
Red – you get up a 6am regularly for a duel
Blue – you vote conservative and have wet dreams about Margaret Thatcher
Black – you turn into a bat at midnight
Pink – half blooded socialist
White – you are nobody

That seems to be the attitude af the British authorities, trying ever harder to prevent the gush of revelations of their misdeeds from the whistleblower Edward Snowden.
That can be the only reason they locked up the partner of a journalist for nine hours as he passed through Heathrow airport, and locked him up under the terrorism act, a quite meaningless piece of legislation that means they can lock up anyone for anything.
In case you don’t know, the terrorism act applies to all of us. We are all suspected terrorists, who can be arrested at any time for no reason whatsoever and locked up until they need the cell for the next ‘suspected terrorist’.

If 16 year olds get the vote, the rest of us should have two each.

I have been intimidated for ages about the thought of moving all my website accounts to my own email account and closing my google account, but with all the ‘google getting close to the creepy line crap’ lately, I have decided to do it. I reckon it will take about a year, but by then noone will be monitoring my emails, seeing that I get spam from Filipino teenage girls, and I won’t be faced with ads in my email account for anything at all. Most of all though, I care that the government is not going to find out what colour underpants I bought from amazon, at least not from my email account.
