Brace Yourself!

I use ubuntu server at home and have ubuntu on a laptop. I have heard there is to be an ubuntu smartphone, which I would find extremely attractive. This is not true. What there will be is a phone running android which boots into ubuntu on a desktop screen when you use a docking device. Sounds too contrived to be useful.

Is this one of the most pointless statements ever? All the Royal Useless Father had to do was turn up and say ‘push’.
Actually he is hardly more use than the rest of the royal uselessnesses, none of who has ever invented, discovered or written anything useful.

The governemt is to take n aggressive approach to immigration, with a poster campaign saying effectively, ‘noone wants you here. Just go’.
It is a bitter and twisted policy. These people don’t deserve to be in power. Immigrants should stay and demand their rights.

I have apps on my phone, some free and some paid. Normally when I pay for something I can sell it as second hand if I want to. I can’t sell an app I have paid for. Is this illegal?

When I was a student, desperate for money, I went for an interview at McDonald’s. I was told to start on Monday, but before my start date I had cross words with the manager.

I am shocked by how much money apple makes from the in-app crap from the iPad and iPhone. God knows why anyone wants to buy anything from apple when in their ignorance they could find themselves with a bill for thousands of pounds for clicking on links in a ‘free’ app.

There is also the failure to engage the elected governments of Iran, Gaza, Venezuela, Bolivia, the extradition of British internet filesharers, businessmen and hackers, the tortue of suspects and the prosecution of whistleblowers, and the total failure to force Israel to the peace table.
