Another Glorious British Loser

Andy Murray has continued a long tradition, maintained by footballers and tennis players, of almost but not quite almost winning something somewhere. In the true tradition of British sporting failures he almost but not quite managed to but some foreign guy at a sport that I take no interest in at all.
The next great advance will come when I can name the sport he has failed in, or tell him apart from any other lanky scotsman.
