In a surprisingly short time there could be no taxi drivers in London. Google could be sending driverless taxis all over the city in response to text messages from people wanting to go places.
It will probably be for the worse, cos immigrants will find it hard to get a start in a country if they can’t make a living driving a car, which is the only skill a lot of them have.
